FAQ's

Will my therapist be fully qualified and insured?

Yes, all practitioners at Comfort Health are registered by their own professional regulatory body. All Physiotherapists are registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP) and by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

What should I wear for a Physio/Osteo/Massage appointment?

Loose comfortable clothing that will not restrict your movement would be suitable. During the assessment, your therapist will need to examine the affected area. Your modesty will be maintained at all times. Shorts and t-shirts/vest tops are normally the best option.

Will the treatment hurt?

During an assessment, you will be asked to perform certain tasks/tests that may provoke some discomfort. This is essential for us to diagnose the problem and develop a treatment plan. Depending on the severity of the condition, some treatment techniques may also cause discomfort. Before we treat, we will explain to you fully the advantages of the treatment, and why it may be painful.
