Your Teacher

Alice has been practicing yoga since 2011 and is an accredited yoga teacher and therapist. Alice trained as a teacher with Yoga London, lead by Holly Warren in 2016. Since then she has been on many courses and completed over 950 hours of training. Alice has also done a Yoga Therapy Diploma with Yoga Campus, accredited by the British Council of Yoga Therapy & registered with the Complementary & Natural Health Care Council.

Alice discovered yoga in her early 20s and was immediately attracted to the physicality of asana. With regular practice she soon began to feel the physical benefits. Alice noticed an overall improvement in her strength and flexibility, which in turn resulted in a reduction in aches and pains. She soon discovered the joys of yoga beyond asana. Alice now also practices meditation and pranayama (Breathwork) regularly, which she believes to be instrumental in managing her overall health and well-being. Yoga has enabled Alice to develop a loving and compassionate relationship with herself and an appreciation for her body, which in turn has made her more able to support those around her.

Alice believes yoga is for everybody and this is reflected in her teaching through the use of permissive language, props and offering options and variations. Alice shares a variety of tools including yoga postures, breathing practices, meditation and relaxation so that you get to experience a rich and well rounded practice. She specialises in yoga for anxiety and arthritis.

Alice also offers Yoga and Breathwork as a combined 1 hour session. Within this session you will receive a tailor made yoga practice to address your specific needs which will combine yoga postures, relaxation and meditation techniques as well as breath work techniques.
